How Is the Procedure Performed?

A nurse or technician will clean off the areas of your chest where the sensory pads will be placed. These will be coated in a gel, which might feel cold to the skin. You will have electrodes attached to your skin, but no electricity will be passed to you.

You will be asked to walk on a treadmill which will gradually increase in speed. Your heart electrical signals and your blood pressure readings are continueously recorded and graphed for later analysis by your doctor.

The results will be stored in our automated medical record system and will be available to your doctor for comparison at each follow-up.
